Woo hoo!
It was beautiful to watch and Nastia and Shawn were as perfect as you can get. Now, there's been so much talk about whether or not the Chinese team used underage gymnasts, but no one will ever prove that and the Chinese women were fantastic to watch as well. But tonight was the United States' chance and they took it. The only thing more entertaining than watching Shawn and Nastia, was watching Bela Karolyi - the guy's a riot, isn't he?
Woo hoo! Time to watch the medal ceremony and then get some sleep. Today was crazy. Tomorrow might be calmer (though my daughter seems to be coming down with the same cold my husband has, so tomorrow might suck just as easily. We'll see) and maybe tomorrow I'll blog from the topic list, so it stands a chance (however slight) of being writing-related.
