It's Almost Here...

School, that is.

Ah yes, the wonderful thing that is the first day of school is mercifully right around the corner. Yay! Kids out of the house. Quiet. Peace. Time to Write!

Forget Christmas, back-to-school is the most wonderful time of the year.

However, before one can get to the first day of school, one must shop for it.

I'm taking the Girl back to school shopping today. The Boy needs clothes, too, but he's a pain in the store and I know his size, soooo...

He stays.

The Girl, however, takes different sizes, depending on the manufacturer (because they can't make sizes actually standard, can they? Apparently that is just too much to ask) so I need her too-tall-for-her-age body with me. Okay. Deep breath. I can do this.

Yes, I can do this.
