The three-week roller coaster ride that I've been on is just about over. Now, I love roller coasters, but I've had quite enough of this. I'm ready to get off the ride and back into boring ol' normalcy. Really.
My husband's doing very well - he's been up and walking - albeit slowly. Yesterday, he was kind of doing the Tim Conway old-guy shuffle ("I'm runnin'!"), but tonight he was walking at twice the pace - which still isn't all that fast, but it is good. It's tough on me to slow down to keep his pace - he's six foot two, I'm five foot four - I'm used to almost running to keep up with him. Whodathunk the time would come where he'd have to keep up with me?
He looks great - not so drawn and tired, as he was in the days leading up to, and directly after, his surgery. He's lost 25 pounds since August 26 - but he looks good. Hopefully, he'll be home on Sunday.
Okay - I said I had big news that I was sitting on... and I'm still sitting on it. I have a pitch session with an agent tomorrow, and I really need to write the stupid pitch. But, hang in there - if things aren't too crazy tomorrow, I promise I'll let the big news fly...
Cross my heart.

I'm glad that he is doing much better. I'm sure that before long it will be back to normal and you will be running to keep up with him again! ;)
Glad to hear that he will be coming home soon. Good luck with the pitch session tomorrow. And I suppose I can sit on the pins and needles for one more day.
Thank you - it's been such a long ride that I'll be glad when it's over... soon. Very soon...
