NaNoWriMo

NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month. Yep, it's where a bunch of us lunatics sign up in the hopes of writing an entire novel in a month. It begins November first and, this year, I'll be typing frantically with all the other entrants. It's my first time and I've got to be crazy. Write at least 50k words in a month? On top of the new book I just started? Yep - it's official. I've lost my mind.

It's something I've wanted to do for a few years now - and now I decided to suck it up and give it a try. Who knows? Maybe I'll get that Old West story out - and even if I don't, I do love the idea of the challenge.

So, here goes. One more thing to make sure I totally lose what few marbles I have left.

I'm looking forward to it! =)

Yesterday, I signed up to participate in NaNoWriMo. It is my first year as well. I love a challenge! Looks like we are going to be loosing our marbles together! :)

It should be fun - an entire population of people losing their minds at once! =)

Hi Kim

Saw you on samhain cafe and stopped by to say hi.

I did Nano last year and it was the catalyst for me to become a published author!

The 100K+ I wrote in November (!) turned into my first ever novel.

Since then I've completed 5 other novellas/novels and Samhain is releasing my first published work in march 2009!

So, yes, nano is insane but it's a wonderful thing as well. Look forward to seeing you there!

It'll be interesting, if nothing else. I don't know how many marbles I have left! =)
