Halfway There!

Woo hoo! Hit the halfway mark with Devil in Disguise about an hour ago. I'm on the edge of the first love scene, but since I'm getting tired, it'll have to wait until tomorrow. But that's okay. Love scenes can be a bit of a pain to write to begin with, so I'd really rather not do it when I'm tired. That's when I go back, re-read it and think What the hell was I thinking??? Of course, I'll probably do that anyway, but still...

It's so hard to believe October's just about over. But I have to admit, I'm glad. Now, I make it point to try to stay away from politics here, simply because I'm not a politics person. I don't understand politics and I don't think I really care to understand them beyond knowing what I need to know in order to make an informed vote come November 4th. Right now, I'm so sick of all the nonsense going on that I wish it was November 5th and this election was behind us. Maybe then life can get back to relative normalcy.

So, I still won't go there where politics are concerned. I pretty much know who's going to get my vote and that's that. I try to keep this blog relatively light (and funny, I hope - at least at times) because there are more than enough political blogs out there, and written by people who actually know what they're talking about. I don't and I know I don't and that's fine.

And on that note, it's time to go and veg for a while. I've earned it. =)

I intend to be so deeply immeshed in NaNoWriMo that I forget to watch the news coverage. I find out who got elected in December.

Oh, I can't forget it. I try, but it seems to find me. Always...

But soon this will all be over and I can go back to Tara. ;D
