NaNo Update

50420 / 50000 words. 101% done!

And with some words to spare, no less.

Of course, the book is only about halfway written in reality. There's a lot more to come on it, but now I can write it at my leisure. Whew.

50k words in 12 days.

I'm beat.

Since September 28, I've written two books, including my NaNo project. No wonder I'm tired. But for both, the words just kind of flowed, for the most part. I have no idea how long revisions will take, but both stories were a lot of fun to write. I honestly didn't know if I'd be able to reach 50k in the 30 days, never mind do it in less than two weeks. I guess it's true about making yourself write - without editing, just putting words on paper - some mught be garbage, but once you find the groove, you really find the groove. I found the groove.

And now, it's time for a bit of a writing break. I think I've earned it. Besides, I think my family kind of misses me. =)

Congrats! And two books in the last month, did I read that right? *boggles*

You better celebrate, girl! You totally deserve it.

Way to go!

I'm so not worthy!

Yep - two books (well, 1 and 1/2, since the NaNO one isn't entirely finished). It's funny because I stressed all summer because I couldn't seem to get past pg 30 on any story. Then I started making myself write for at least an hour a day and voila! The floodgates opened. Of course, now I'm thisclose to braindead, but it's okay...

Thanks and go WRITE! =)

Congrats Kim! A very awesome feat.

Aw shucks... thanks...

But I don't recommend it. I'm so worn out it isn't even funny. In hindsight, pacing might be something I want to work on for next year... =)

Are you sure you don't want to do NaNoWriWe? It's where you write a novel in a week. :D

Seriously, though, congratulations!

A novel in a week????!!! The horror, the horror!

I think I'll stick with the month - the week thing just might kill me! =)
