Recuperating...

The Boy's birthday went off without too much trouble - aside from the birthday boy having a little too much party and not wanting to go to bed...

I'm in the middle of the first edits for After the Storm and I'm still **facepalming** a few sections, but for the most part, it's going well. It's amazing how I can see how awkward or stupid a scene is once someone else points it out. The scenes that my editor has asked be rewritten are also going smoothly.

But, that means for the next few days, posts are going to be short and sweet. I will post the pictures of the Lightning McQueen cake, I'm just not sure exactly when.
